Beginning in 2015, our early collaborations took the form of correspondences and performances at NSCAD University in Halifax, Canada. After graduation, we spent two months at a residency in Iceland, where we developed performances that took up material explorations in natural fibres and dyes, textiles, and wearable artworks. Over the years, we have used various formats to document our performances, including video, film photography, and drawing. Visually, these documents depict vivid colours and simple forms, representative of our time spent working with children. Emotionally, they convey closeness, embodied trust, and a physical relationship to our environment.

Now based in Montreal, Canada and London, UK, our recent work increasingly reaches into public space. As artists working within art education, we share a pedagogical approach informed by knitting circles, weaving guilds, and vernacular craft traditions. We create inclusive, skill-sharing environments - whether through mobile workshops in parks or participatory projects in galleries - reimagining ancestral craft techniques as contemporary tools for community-building.
